I would add a couple hundred WSD printers / ports to a print server by calling PowerShell get-printer targeting one print server to harvest the IP/Hostname for all the printers, then feed that into add-printer to get the new printers on the new server.
One 'problem' with that method is the Plug and Play printer creation magically changes the printer name information with the 'Device' information. So, the actually devices need to be on line when you call add-printer. Not like TCP/IP Ports where you can add them all day and bring the device to the building later but you can turn on the device in a staging building using the hostname and work it that why. I have not used the scripts in a couple years. I have them still just not right here.
