The Officejet 6000 doesn't have Win7 64 bit drivers on the HP website as of yet and the Vista 64 drivers wouldn't install (saying that it doesn't recognize the OS when I try). The printer model shows up in 'Devices and Printers' and will show up under 'Printers' in the device manager and I was told HP tier 2 the model should show up under the 'USB Controllers' section as well but all I get under that section 'USB Printing Support'.

HP phone support gave up on this printer and forwarded it to engineering, although their response was that there was something wrong with the OS or the Hardware.
