Hp Data Vault Software Installation Disc. I have a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with an HP LaserJet 1300 attached. The printer drivers are built into Windows 7 so I'm able to install the printer by merely plugging the printer in via USB.
I'd like to share that printer with some 32-bit Windows XP systems. I go to the printer properties sharing tab and click on Additional Drivers., select the checkbox for x86 and click on OK. It prompts me to enter the location where the drivers can be found. I point it to a directory where I've downloaded the XP 32-bit drivers and it comes back with ' The specified location does not contain the driver hp LaserJet 1300 PCL 5 for the requested processor architecture' I'm kind of guessing since it is a Windows 7 system it wants the 32-bit Windows 7 drivers. However, you can't download LaserJet 1300 drivers for Windows 7 since they are built into the OS. So my question is, how can I get the 32-bit drivers loaded into my 64-bit Windows 7? I have a 32-bit Windows 7 DVD and a valid volume license for using them.
