Within a couple hours of e-mailing Canon support, I got the answer to my question. Since I suspect anyone with a Pixma printer is likely to have the same question, here is their response: Thank you for your inquiry.

Will include the color profiles included for use with software such as Photoshop, but we cannot assist with software or application issues or settings. The below information applies to images saved in Adobe RGB Color Space. This does not apply to all image files, on these. The profiles listed are for these specific files.
